Orleans is not what I’d call a particularly great cathedral for stained glass. It has a huge series of windows mainly showing the life of Joan of Arc, with all the worst faults of nineteenth century glass – hideous murky colours, faux-medieval competition, sentimentality.

But then it has these very odd windows in the ambulatory chapels. I cant work out the relationship between the fake-Gothic ornament and the panel with the children, nor can I work out what the subjects are. Or even the date. One online source mentions ‘new glass of 2000′, but that doesn’t seem right; these are almost art nouveau….

I see so many of these on the corner and online. Nothing against anyone preference but, I can’t date or be in a relationship with someone who is on the DL.

I was riding my bike and rode into the nearby cemetary on a whim. I’d seen Pig Pen’s grave there once before, but wondered if I’d be able to find it since it is a flat stone on the ground. But someone had had the same idea a bit before me and left some markers that were hard to miss.

I looked online to see the specific dates of Pig Pen’s birth and death – as the stone just lists the years. Born September 8, 1945. Pig Pen would have been celebrating his 65th birthday today had he lived through all that drinking.

Im 19 and signed up for a dating site (okcupid) because I dont meet that many guys in person.

I actually took the time to fill out my profile and wrote a lot of information about myself. I have received alot of messages but they are all either say “hey sexy” or “Hey whats up”.

No guy has bothered to ask any questions about me or even write a complete. I feel like no one is reading my profile or cares about what I have to say.

Well, it really depends on your picture. If you have one that you are trying to look sexy in or whatever, guys aren’t gonna read any thing. I personally met my current boyfriend through Okcupid and he skimmed my profile before. Mine was really long so skimming was probably better.

I have been talking to a girl, for about three days now, on an online dating site eHarmony. I think her and I are really clicking, she seems to really be interested in me. In fact she is the one who emailed me first. Today I thought that I would ask for her number and call her for the first date this weekend. I put in the email that there was no pressure to give me the phone number, but I just wanted to open up another form of communication outside of email, and that maybe we could set up something for the weekend.
